What is it like to enter an eCommerce website with a bad UX?

Entering a store where products are scattered everywhere and nothing can be seen properly on the shelf. Right?

And so now you know why is it so important to have a seamless user experience for your eCommerce site.

Here are a few mobile eCommerce UX global trends in 2021 to follow:

  • Deliver newer experiences like ‘shop the look’ on the product page. Make sure a ‘look’ has its own experience so that shoppers can view all the items at once, instead of visiting the product pages individually.
  • Show critical information above the fold of the page. It increases overall customer engagement and improves the average time spent on the website which then helps the bots to index the relevant terms in SERPs.
  • Use the back-to-top button for category pages that are longer than four screens. Place the button on the lower right of the page where customers expect to see it. Label it with an upward arrow.
  • Provide filters to show the availability of a certain product for curbside pickup at the store. 50% of online shoppers say that their buying decisions are influenced by the fact that whether a product is available for curbside pickup or not.
